TOC HOSTEL, MADRID
Toc Hostel is situated in the centre of Madrid, near Puerta del Sol, but very far from the airport.
It's a very modern place, even if the stairs look worn out and you could fall. There are mainly bunk rooms, which are well equipped with 6/8 beds, two large showers, two sinks, two toilets, air-conditioning and free wi-fi, but they haven't got a lot of space for all that people.
What I disliked the most was that you had to pay to have towels or an hairdryer and also the fingerprint access to rooms, which didn't always work.
There's a bar open all day and the offer includes a buffet as breakfast with various and tasty food, but there aren't many seats and it starts only at 8 a.m. In the evening you can have fun playing at the pool table with friends.
The staff was very friendly and welcoming but the room cleaning service wasn't very fast; when we arrived we had to leave our luggage in another room, however the room was cleaned very well.
I recommend it especially to young people for its location and cleanliness.
