Toc Hostel is situated in the center of Madrid, near Puerta del Sol, only 300 metres from Sol Underground.
I was there few weeks ago and I found it delightful. The welcoming was a bit confused because we were 25 of us but when the staff assigned us the rooms, we found them very fresh and airy. We entered our rooms by using a fingerprint system.
The hostel is on six floors and the rooms, hosting 6 or 8 guests, are spacious. The bathrooms are separated from the bed area through a low and little wall and there are two sinks, two showers and two isolated toilets. The mattresses are comfortable but you cannot sleep directly on them.

The hostel offers a bar, open all the evenings until midnight. Breakfast is from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. and is included in the price of the room: the staff gives you a bracelet that you have to wear every morning.
I think that it’s a modern place to stay if you don’t have money for an expensive hotel.
