A modern room in Madrid’s heart
Toc hostel is a contemporary hostel in the heart of Madrid, located close
to Puerta Del Sol. Despite its position, reaching the hostel by metro from the
airport is inconvenient and difficult because you must carry your luggage up
three different subways.
The hostel looks welcoming both in the original common areas and the
comfortable rooms. The rooms have modern furniture. What I liked most of
the rooms is their technological fingerprint reader to enter and the
excellent cleaning. In every room there are two spacious showers, two toilets
and two sinks with a large mirror; however I’m disappointed by the lease of the
towels that aren’t included. Another negative thing is that although some rooms
are predisposed for eight people, they’re too small!!!
Breakfast isn’t bad and it offers a various buffet. In my opinion the
breakfast room is unsatisfying because it has few seats and its opening, at 8
o’clock, is too late for tourists.
I stayed there on a school trip and I would recommend it for its modernity,
its cleanliness, its cheapness and for its friendly staff.
